SINGERS
is a small, informal
DIOCESAN CHOIR
that leads the music for certain
diocesan celebrations at
Saint Chad's Cathedral
and sometimes at other
venues too.

To join SINGERS you should:
- be already involved in parish music-making somewhere in the Archdiocese;
- be able to attend rehearsals two hours before celebrations begin;
- be an experienced singer with a good voice and good sight-reading skills;
- have broad tastes in Church Music, for SINGERS might sing anything from Gregorian Chant and six-part Palestrina to songs by Graham Kendrick.
SINGERS is a voluntary choir. There are no fees for singing but members receive travelling expenses and a meal is often provided, following the celebration.
